The current site does not use a third-party analytics platform.

Inquiry information is not sold to advertisers or data brokers.

01 / Scope

This policy covers lanmark.dev.

It describes information handled by the Lanmark Studio website, including the contact form and normal requests made to the site. A client website built by Lanmark may have its own privacy requirements and is not automatically covered by this policy.

02 / Inquiry data

What is stored when you contact Lanmark.

Every visible contact-form field and image attachment is optional. If you submit the form, the application stores the information you chose to provide together with the IP address associated with the request.

Possible form fields

Name, email address, business name, existing website, project direction, Foundation selection, message, and optional reference images.

Request information

The IP address used for the submission is stored with the inquiry and is also used for abuse prevention and rate limiting.

For each attached image, the application also keeps its original filename plus technical metadata such as the detected image type, byte size, and a SHA-256 digest used for integrity/reference purposes.

You can submit a sparse inquiry. An email address is not required, although Lanmark cannot reply unless you include a way to reach you.

03 / Technical data

Basic request information is used to keep the site working.

The application processes request details needed to serve pages, enforce allowed hosts, verify same-site form submissions, apply rate limits, and respond to errors. The web server or hosting provider may also create ordinary access or security logs as part of operating the VPS.

The contact endpoint includes a honeypot field, origin checks, validation, and per-IP rate limiting to reduce automated abuse.

04 / Cookies + tracking

No analytics or advertising cookies.

The current Lanmark application does not set cookies for normal browsing or contact-form use. It does not load advertising pixels, social tracking scripts, or a third-party analytics service.

If that changes later, this policy should be updated before those tools are treated as part of the normal site.

05 / How data is used

Inquiry information is used for the inquiry.

Submitted information and optional reference images may be used to understand the project, review the requested direction or visual material, respond when contact information is supplied, protect the form from abuse, and maintain a practical business record of the conversation.

Lanmark does not use contact-form submissions to build advertising audiences or sell personal information.

06 / Storage + retention

Inquiry records are stored on the production system.

Contact submissions are persisted in a local SQLite database used by the Lanmark application. Optional reference images are stored separately in private persistent storage on the same production system and linked to the inquiry by database metadata. Uploaded images are not given public website URLs.

If production email notifications are configured, the text inquiry may also be copied into the email system used to notify Lanmark. Uploaded images are not attached to those notification emails.

Inquiry records may be kept as business correspondence while they remain useful for the project or related communication. The application does not currently apply an automatic deletion timer to stored inquiries.

If you want a submitted inquiry corrected or deleted, use the contact page and include enough information to identify the submission.

07 / Third parties

Data only passes through services needed to operate the site.

Depending on the production configuration, information may be processed by the VPS or infrastructure provider that hosts the site and by the email provider used for inquiry notifications. Those services process information as part of hosting or message delivery rather than for Lanmark advertising.

Lanmark does not intentionally provide inquiry data to advertisers or data brokers.

08 / Security

Reasonable safeguards are built into the application.

The site uses input validation, origin checks, rate limiting, host restrictions, security headers, and a production deployment intended to run over HTTPS. Image uploads are restricted by count and size, checked by file signature, renamed with generated identifiers, and kept outside public static routes. These controls reduce risk, but no website or server can guarantee absolute security.

09 / Your choices

You control how much you submit.

You can browse the public site without creating an account or sending the contact form. Contact fields are optional, and you can leave out information you do not want to provide.

You can also ask Lanmark to review, correct, or delete inquiry information you previously submitted. Use the contact page and include a way to reach you so the request can be verified and answered.

10 / Changes

If the site changes, this page should change with it.

New features such as analytics, accounts, payment processing, public client portals, or other data-handling systems would require this policy to be reviewed. The date at the top of this page indicates the current version.
